Welcome to the West Lindsey Branch Bell Ringers’ website. The Lincoln Diocesan Guild is subdivided into 6 branches. The West Lindsey Branch covers the area of Lincolnshire that is to the north of Lincoln and to the west of the A15. Whilst we have fewer towers than most of the other branches we are a very active and friendly branch, with meetings at least once every month. We are particularly proud of the work we have done to encourage young people to come into bell ringing. This was recognised nationally when we were awarded the 2008 Founders’ Prize for the Encouragement of Young Ringers. You would be very welcome to attend any of our meetings which are shown in the diary. Would you like to learn to ring? Bell ringing is an excellent hobby. It combines physical with mental activity, gives you a group of friends from all walks of life and provides a service to your local church and community. If you would like to learn to ring, please contact the Branch Ringing Master email@example.com to find out more about ringing in the area. Or simply go to the tower when you hear the bells ringing and introduce yourself. You would be made very welcome.
